13 Apr Daily Quote from Sir Ken Robinson
If you get preoccupied by a certain type of achievement, then you don’t even look for other things people might be good at.
- Sir Ken Robinson
Today’s Practice:
Think about a song, a book, a painting, a piece of music, a poem, or some other form of creative expression that has had an impact on your life. Focus your thoughts on the emotions the creative expression triggers, and utilize those feelings in your own empathic, imaginative, and creative process in your role as a parent or teacher with the young people in your life. Allow yourself to see each child with whom you spend time, as a work of art in the process of becoming a unique and creative individual; ask yourself, “How am I inviting my children/students to express the unique voice that resides within each of them?”
