Daily Quote from Carole Dweck

When you enter a mindset, you enter a new world. In one world (the world of fixed traits) success is about proving you’re smart or talented. Validating yourself. In the other (the world of changing qualities) it’s about stretching yourself to learn something new. Developing yourself.

Today’s Practice:

We each have a life story filled with memories, and we can learn from our life story and the choices we have made.

Show an example of a “life story” map that you make about your own life. Present it as a mind map similar to the example shown here.

Have your children create their own life story maps, reflecting as they do so on what life lessons they have learned and then have them share it with you.
