22 Jun Daily Practice Inspired by Barack Obama
If you're walking down the right path and you're willing to keep walking, eventually you'll make progress.

Today’s Practice:
The theme this week as we come to the official close of the school year and for some, the close of their high school careers, is to plan out “mini-goals” and how they will reach them with determination and hope. Encourage your child today and always, to keep moving ahead one step at a time, asking: “What are you going to do today as part of your plan to reach your goals?” Ask this question as part of the conversation about what their hopes and dreams are.
Instead of challenging their dreams as being too ambitious or unrealistic, guide your children by helping them come up with a plan of action, starting with the first step. As time moves on, if their goals shift, great! Encourage them to keep moving, clarifying that dreams and plans often shift as part of the learning process, often based on what is happening around them in their life.
