26 May Daily Practice Inspired by Bob Dylan
May your hands always be busy
May your feet always be swift
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift-Bob Dylan
Today’s Practice:
Teach your children to create their own routines and rituals to “ground” themselves throughout the day. You might consider getting them a small white board with markers and each morning upon waking, they can write their schedule for the day. This could include exercising, having fun, completing school work, practicing an instrument or sport, or other activities. The big picture is that by trusting them to set up their day, you are empowering them and preparing them for increased independence in the future.
