10 Apr Daily Quote featuring Rachel Naomi Remen
When people are talking, there’s no need to do anything but receive them. Just take them in. Listen to what they’re saying. Care about it. Most times caring about it is even more important than understanding it.

Today’s Practice:
Sit together with your family at a table or in a circle.
Each person shares something they feel is important while the others honor them by listening. This person might share something they have written, created, or some exciting and joyful news. The person speaking can also tell the group about a challenge they are currently facing, and the group then offers caring suggestions for consideration.
The key practice in this exercise is listening; the key emotion is the feeling of connection.
